Incidents of Libel, Slander, Harassment, Vandalism and Terrorism against the Operators of this Service

What follows is a critique of the manner and means by which certain questions have been debated within a particular community. It is protected political speech in the sense of the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States, and Article 1 Section 7 of the Constitution of Pennsylvania. By publishing libel and pursuing political objectives through large-scale campaigns using word of mouth, the telephone and e-mail, some of the aliases mentioned here (such as "Concerned Parent") have constructed themselves into public and political figures, and are being criticized in that capacity.

The Operators of this Service

1989-1991 John Doe became the father of a child.
A systematic campaign of defamation was carried out in and around John Doe's local community, using telephone calls and word of mouth, exploiting an existing atmosphere of fear in the community, and designed to incite riot, violence and arbitrary discrimination against John Doe.
Local school and church officials were harassed with repeated telephone calls repeating stories about John Doe and demanding action against John Doe.
John Doe received repeated telephone calls threatening violence against him and his family if he attempted to establish contact with his child.
21 August 1995 Anonymous forger and spammer "Concerned Layman" harassed and abused a church-related discussion list, stating that John Doe's internet resource was doctrinally unsound, and advertising on behalf of other church institutions.
21 June 1996 Robby7 promoted a pornography site by spamming Usenet, using a forged return address at John Doe's site, thus promoting harassment and abuse of legitimate users of the site.
22 June 1996 John Doe's response to messages addressed to Robby7.
3 July 1996 Anonymous forger and spammer "Concerned Newchurchman" invented the story that Robby7's forged e-mail address was real, invented the story that John Doe's internet resource is really a pornography site, spammed a church-related directory and advertised for some other church-related institutions.
23 June 1998 Anonymous forger and spammer "Concerned Members of the New Church" used e-mail to harass and abuse a group of people, claiming that John Doe was making anonymous death threats and defending the corrupt Charleston Gang that was running a local church organization.
18 June 1999 Anonymous forger and spammer "Defenders of the New Church" used e-mail to harass and abuse a group of people, defending the Charleston Gang again, and inventing the idea that John Doe was distributing child pornography.
15 April 2000 An anonymous mailer harassed and abused several staff members at the school where John Doe's wife works and child attends, by sending mail using the U.S. Postal Service, accusing John Doe of child abuse, rape and distributing child pornography, etc. and inciting others to riot and arson against John Doe and his spouse, children and property.
22 September 2000 An anonymous spammer used e-mail to harass and abuse a group of people, complaining about the response to the April letter, and repeating a long list of charges against John Doe and his Internet service, especially including child pornography and sexual abuse allegations, and announced that John Doe's internet resource would be shut down very shortly by the police and FBI.
20 April 2001 Anonymous spammer "Concerned Parent" used e-mail to harass and abuse a group of people, repeating charges about child pornography, child abuse, etc.
